Rambler Reimagined

Initially, the clients planned to sell their home and build a new one on an adjacent lot. But, after carefully considering their beautiful landscaping and lake views, they switched the script and decided to sell the lot and remodel their house. Guided by the clients’ desire for a clean, modern look that reflected their love of natural materials, we collaborated with Rehkamp Larson Architects to redesign the entry and update the colors of the exterior.
The clients love to cook, so we reworked the interiors to create a strong focus on the kitchen with open exposure to the living and dining areas. Using a palette of quiet, earthy colors, custom hand-made tile, hand-knotted rugs, and the client’s collection of pottery, we transformed the home into a sanctuary.
